Episode #019, Rolls Royce, BMW, and Mini at the
Detroit Auto Show

Mr Black and Mr White agree not to discuss Korean products, deeming them pretty much a bore. Instead, they cover the burgeoning BMW Empire. And as you know, Southern England is historically part of Greater Bavaria. So, they discuss the Rolls convertible, the new MINI, and the 3-series convertible coupe. Mid-20th Century humor aside, all three come in for extensive praise. Best of all, more problems with dropped calls on Skype, so some weird cuts here and there.

Episode #014, Rolls Royce Phantom
Direct download: ORP-Episode014.mp3
Mr. White had a Rolls Royce Phantom for a long weekend. He didn't pimp any babes with it, but he did spend a lot of time at the tiller. He even shot it sitting next to a 1959 Cadillac, and the photos show you just how mammoth this car is.

The Road Dogs Will Return...

We haven't posted a damn
thing since late October. Holy shit. We've been
making money, buying cars, traveling, scoring with
blonde babes, and working our asses off. Mr. Blonde
had to deal with a family health
emergency that took him over the
equator, over the Amazon jungle, and down to the
Pampas. Hell, he was within spitting distance of
Antarctica. At least he got to drive a few cool
European B-cars and eat a lot of prosciutto con
melone. And of course, score with the kind of
blonde babes you see on all those Spanish soap operas
on Univision and KMEX.
We've regrouped and next is the Rolls-Royce Phantom Mr White pimped around for a few days. Also, the ho-hum debuts of the LA Auto Show: can we even muster the energy to talk about any of them? And we'll be recording our comments on the previews we were given of the Detroit Auto Show design properties, such as they are. Of course, we won't break the stated embargoes, just in case any of you PR humps are sniffing around worried about what we'll do to embarrass you again. We will say that one company clearly listened to our podcast of nearly a year ago, as two of its big show cars follow exactly what we suggested, making great use of an existing platform to bring two very exciting sedans to the market. Or so we hope. Christ, those bozos need a winner sometime soon.
So hang on and we'll deliver more soon enough.
